Obituary: George (Inglis) Oliver

George ‘Inglis’ Oliver sadly passed away on 8^th January 2015. After a seagoing career he accepted an invitation to join the Thames North Channel Pilots. After 1987 on transfer he became a Harwich Haven Authority Pilot until his retirement.

Inglis was a popular character and family man and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
His funeral was at Weeley Crematorium on 21^st January 2015; it was attended by family, friends and colleagues.
